Scope of application

weber pluscalc is a hybrid interior render with lime-like properties. It is made from graded sands and a CO2-reduced special binder. weber pluscalc can be used throughout the interior on masonry of all types, render substrates, concrete with bonding slurry, particularly in bio-ecological building and for demanding refurbishment in listed building conservation. As a base coat
and as a paint-ready finishing render, including damp areas such as domestic kitchens and bathrooms or on ceilings and walls. On weber pluscalc all mineral finishing coats from Weber and all solvent-free paints can be applied. weber pluscalc is easy to apply and is suitable for both smoothing and trowelling. The building-physics properties, such as good room moisture regulation and vapour diffusion openness, create a healthy and comfortable indoor climate. weber pluscalc is mould and mildew inhibiting thanks to its high pH value. The special low-stress hardening process gives the weber pluscalc maximum crack resistance.

General notes

• No additives may be mixed into the mortar.
• During application and drying, the temperature of the air, the materials used and the substrate must not fall below + 5° C.
• Protect fresh render from frost and rapid drying for at least 24 hours.
• Application and execution in accordance with DIN 18 350 VOB/C and DIN 18 550.
• Coverage information refers to the minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on the substrate and application. Exact coverage values must be determined by test areas on site.
• Adjacent components must be separated from the render system.

Special notes

• weber pluscalc is suitable for indoor use as a bedding base for tiles and slabs up to a total weight of thin-bed mortar and tiles of 25 kg/m².
• Paint: After drying, it is possible to apply conventional weber paints in accordance with BFS leaflet No. 10 (e.g. weber pluscalc interior paint or weber.cal lime paint)
