Product Description
TOP Polymer Bitumen Welding Seam with an extremely high mechanically loadable and highly dimensionally stable polyester composite fleece insert, combined with the highest quality bitumen formulations that are separated on the top and bottom sides. On the top side, APP bitumen is used to achieve an extremely good thermal stability. On the underside, SBS bitumen is applied.
Application Areas
Top polymer bitumen welding seam as an upper layer in multi-layer flat roof constructions sealed with bitumen membranes.
Performance Description
BauderKARAT is fully bonded to the first layer with welded seams and overlaps 8-10 cm wide, tightly welded seams, and staggered overlaps arranged accordingly.
Storage
Bauder bitumen membranes should be stored standing on the roll and protected from UV rays, moisture, and heat. During the cold season, rolls may need to be preheated.
Disposal
Bitumen waste can be disposed of with household waste or commercial waste. European Waste Catalogue EWC number 170302. Asphalt-free.
