weber.floor 4725 EP impregnation SE 10kg colourless
weber.floor 4725 EP emulsion primer SE is a factory-produced, 2-component, water-emulsified epoxy resin. As an emulsion primer, it can also be used on very dense substrates such as, for example, weber.floor 4610 Industry Top, in combination with weber.floor 4736 sealing WR SE or weber.floor 4774 matt finish SE. Suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
- AgBB compliant and suitable for rooms where people stay
- Very low viscosity < 100 mPas (23 °C)
- Easy to apply
- Good wetting and penetration
- Water vapour permeable
- Total solid (test method Deutsche Bauchemie)
Substrates
- Concrete, cement screed, calcium sulphate screed, magnesium screed, cast asphalt, epoxy resin coatings
Surface preparation
- The substrate must be load-bearing, dimensionally stable, dry and free from dust and substances that reduce adhesion.
- Follow the application tip: „Method for surface preparation of floors“.
- Where there is rising moisture, suitable sealing measures must be taken.
- Magnesium and anhydrite screeds are not moisture-resistant; allow residual moisture to stabilise. With moisture from the underside, bubbles, delamination or damage to the screed itself may also occur even with thin top coats.
- Thoroughly abrade or blast firmly adhering EP old coatings until the white fracture point is reached. If in doubt, prepare a test area.
Application
Mixing:
- The A and B components are matched to each other. Empty component A completely into component B and mix thoroughly for approx. 2 minutes without streaking using a slow-running mixing tool and mixing paddle No. 2. Decant and mix again. Wherever possible, do not take partial quantities.
- Follow the application tip: „How should reactive resins be correctly mixed and applied?“
- Clean equipment while still fresh with water.
Application:
- Immediately after mixing, apply the material evenly in a thin, closed coat using the nylon roller in a crosswise pattern. For highly absorbent substrates, apply a second working pass. Do not dilute with water!
- An even application of material results in a uniform level of gloss and prevents shading.
- During application and drying, ensure good ventilation, i.e. air circulation. Avoid draughts.
- Follow-up treatment: colourless with weber.floor 4774 matt finish SE or coloured with weber.floor 4736 sealing WR SE as soon as the surface is walkable.
