The moisture-variable, robust vapour barrier Prima Klima with fleece backing is highly effective due to its moisture-variable diffusion resistance and is ideal for the required airtightness in the roof with UV protection in accordance with DIN 4108-7.

• Fix Prima Klima vapour barrier to the „warm“ side of the thermal insulation using staple pins.
• Always keep the smooth side with the printed text facing the installer.
• Install the vapour barrier without tension.
• Place vertical overlaps on a rafter.
• Ensure a vertical overlap of min. 10 cm ("overlap strips").
• To create an airtight plane, the vapour barrier must be bonded airtight with the Prima adhesive tapes suitable for this purpose. This includes all overlaps at the edges of the sheets and penetrations. The surface must be dry, dust-free and free from grease. Rub the adhesive tapes down firmly and do not subject them to tension.
• For an airtight connection to the rendered masonry, the membrane is bonded with Prima high-performance sealing adhesive and additionally fixed using a pressure batten. In doing so, a slack loop must be provided.
• After installation, battens must be fitted to transfer the weight of the insulation material.
