KNAUF Insulation Dichtkleber LDS Solimur 310ml
Product Description
Elastic, solvent-free, permanently strong adhesive special bonding compound. It is used for the secure elastic connection of air-tightness layers and vapor barrier membranes on adjacent building components, taking into account the requirements of DIN 4108 Part 7.
Durability of the Bonding
Professional bonding with certified system components is highly durable, with a lifespan of over 50 years, as confirmed by test reports from the University of Kassel, and thus meets the requirements of ETAG 007 guideline for European Technical Approval ETAG 007 for timber frame construction.
Suitable Adhesive Substrates
- LDS System vapor barrier membranes
- Plaster, wood, and concrete
- Gypsum board and fiberboard
- Polyamide and aluminum foils, as well as polyethylene foils according to DIN EN 13984
- Polypropylene spunbond membranes according to DIN EN 13984 and DIN EN 13859
- Wood-based panels with a solid surface, e.g., panels made of long, flat oriented chips (OSB) according to DIN EN 300
- Particleboards according to DIN EN 309
- Cement-bonded chipboards
- Building papers and kraft paper
Substrate Condition
The surfaces must be clean, dry, and load-bearing. Dust, grease, loose parts, and other contaminants must be removed.
Application Recommendations
Apply the special bonding compound as a continuous bead approximately 8 mm thick on the substrate. For wet bonding, gently press the vapor barrier membrane onto the adhesive bead with a relief loop to form a sealing layer approximately 4 mm thick. For dry bonding, a firm pressure is necessary within 24 hours after applying the adhesive bead.
Uncertified substrates must be checked for their suitability for bonding. Release agents and lubricants on foil surfaces reduce the adhesive strength. For rough-sawn wood, gypsum board, and fiberboard, as well as softwood fiberboard and chipboard, pre-treatment with LDS Primer is required.
