Kip crepe paper tapes with a red core are reinforced masking tapes with paper backing for versatile use in masking and covering work indoors and outdoors. These tapes are resistant to water, solvents, and oils, and are tear-resistant and flexible. To achieve optimal results, the appropriate crepe tape should be selected for each application. Two points should be emphasized:

1. Multiple quality levels are available for different applications. These quality levels are determined by the construction of the tape.
2. Before using any crepe tape, test bonding should be performed, as the adhesive strength depends not only on the adhesive used but also on the pressure applied, the nature of the substrate, and the duration of bonding. The adhesive strength of a tape increases with longer bonding times or environmental conditions such as temperature and UV radiation. To avoid tearing, testing is essential.

The fine crepe tape is suitable for higher-end applications, offering good adhesion and tear resistance. It is a lightly creped tape with high-quality natural rubber adhesive and good impregnation. Additionally, it has excellent tack. The tape is especially suitable for covering work on smooth surfaces, primarily indoors. It is also resistant at temperatures up to 80°C.
