OSMO UV Protection Oil/Extra
Product Description:
Transparent, lightly pigmented, and silk-matte wood coating based on natural oil for outdoor wood. Open-pored, allows the wood to breathe, and reduces swelling and shrinking. Water-repellent, does not crack, peel, or flake off. When used as a topcoat on already colored-treated wood, Osmo UV Protection Oil Colored significantly extends the renovation interval. As a single coating, after two applications, it delays the graying process on vertical surfaces by the UV Protection Factor 12 compared to untreated wood. The coating contains active ingredients for the preventive protection of the coating against mold, algae, and fungal infestation. Can be recoated without sanding. Easy to apply with minimal streaking. Does not dry to the touch during application.
Application Areas:
UV Protection Oil Colored is ideal for all vertical outdoor wood surfaces: doors, windows and window frames, structural components, carports, wood facades, balconies, fences, pergolas, and garden houses. Not structural components. Also suitable for bamboo poles, e.g., for privacy screens.
Shelf Life:
5 years or longer when stored dry and tightly sealed. If thickened due to frost, store at room temperature for 24-36 hours before use.
