Application Area
- Suitable for interior and exterior use
- For wall and floor joints
- For narrow joints such as in mosaic installations up to wide joints in split clinker tiles
- Suitable for earthenware tiles, stoneware tiles, split slabs, porcelain mosaics, glass mosaics, glass tiles, brick tiles, and also suitable for fine stoneware tiles
- In residential areas, buildings, showers, on balconies, terraces, facades, in public and commercial areas with high moisture exposure, e.g., shower facilities, saunas, toilet facilities, in sales and presentation areas
- On heated screeds, dry screeds, concrete prefabricated parts, plasterboard, plasterboards, wood chipboards, wooden floors, and in areas with strong temperature fluctuations
Substrate Preparation
- Immediately after laying the tiles, scrape the joints evenly and deeply to the tile thickness and clean
- Allow the adhesive or laying mortar to mature
Processing of PCI Nanofug
- Fill clean work container with water, add PCI Nanofug, and immediately knead with a suitable stirrer or mixing tool attached to a drill to form a plastic, lump-free mortar
- After a maturation time of approx. 3 minutes, knead again
- Apply the joint mortar with PCI rubber jointing disc and allow to set; optionally, rework with PCI Nanofug for a complete finish
- After sufficient setting, wash off with a slightly damp, stable sponge or sponge board
- After drying, remove any remaining mortar residue with a slightly damp sponge
