PCI Reinforcement Mat GFM:

• With special binder that holds the glass fibers together in mat form in the delivery state and does not cause disturbance when in contact with suitable PCI floor leveling compounds
• No disruption of the bond due to a separating coating on the reinforcement between fiber and PCI floor leveling compound on one side and PCI floor leveling compound and primed substrate on the other
• The reinforcement fibers remain highly concentrated, surface-active, in all horizontal directions in the lower boundary area of the leveling layer
• Complete encapsulation of the reinforcement fibers by the PCI floor leveling compound is possible

PCI Reinforcement Mat GFS:

• Fiber bundles with fine adhesion thread grid and peel-off carrier foil fixed
• Easy handling and embedding in suitable PCI floor leveling compounds
• No floating of the reinforcement

Application area:

• For reinforcement and increase of tensile strength of suitable cement-based PCI floor leveling compounds for a bonded leveling in layer thicknesses from 5 mm
• On substrates with existing cracks and false joints
• On crack-prone substrates and mixed substrates
• On lightly vibrating or vibration-prone substrates, e.g., wooden floor constructions

PCI Reinforcement Mat GFM:
On substrates with cracks up to approx. 3 mm crack width and minor expected movements

Substrate pretreatment:
All substrates suitable for the used PCI floor leveling compound are suitable. Existing cracks do not need to be securely closed. The substrate pretreatment must otherwise be carried out according to the technical data sheet of the used PCI floor leveling compound

Priming:
Depending on the existing substrate, the appropriate primer must be applied according to the technical data sheet of the used PCI floor leveling compound and applied as described in the respective technical data sheet

Installation:
On substrates that require the combined use of both PCI reinforcement mats due to crack widths over 3 mm and higher expected movements, PCI Reinforcement Mat GFS should be laid over the cracks of the prepared primed substrate first, and then fully cover with PCI Reinforcement Mat GFM

PCI Reinforcement Mat GFM:
Cut PCI Reinforcement Mat GFM to room dimensions or the area to be leveled, e.g., with scissors from the roll, and possibly trim. Lay on the prepared, primed, and dried substrate with approx. 1 cm overlap. Then apply PCI floor leveling compound
