Scope of application:

Type:
White, ready-to-use dispersion lightweight filler based on high-quality synthetic resins and selected fillers. ARDEX A  828 READY is vapour-permeable, has good strength and ensures excellent adhesion without primer on many common absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.

Application:
ARDEX A  828 READY is ready to use immediately, without additional mixing, and is suitable not only for manual application but also for application with suitable airless equipment.

Manual application
For manual application, apply the material using a stainless steel smoothing trowel and then smooth it.

Machine application
For spray application, use adequately sized airless units. For example: Graco Ultra Max 1095 with the nozzle HDA 529-535. Spray the material evenly and smooth it immediately or with a delay, depending on the layer thickness.
For subsequent work, e.g. wallpapering, painting, etc., the filler application must be fully dried through. When carrying out the work, follow the instructions provided by the respective manufacturers regarding substrate preparation, application method and working conditions.
ARDEX A  828 READY can be combined excellently with proven dispersion and powder products such as ARDEX A 828, ARDEX A 826, A 826 READY and ARDEX W 820. Do not apply ARDEX A  828 READY at air and substrate temperatures below +5 °C or above +30 °C. In case of doubt, apply test areas.

Preparation of the substrate:
The substrate must be sound, dry, firm and free from dust, dirt and other separating agents. Remove wallpaper, coatings that do not adhere firmly or poorly bound paints, and loose render. Clean wax, oil and grease from lacquers, latex plastic, latex paints and similar dense substrates before applying the filler.
On smooth, dense substrates, pre-fill with ARDEX A  828 READY at approx. 0,5 mm. After the pre-filling has dried, after approx. 2 hours, apply the filler in the desired layer thickness. Slightly absorbent substrates may cause fine air bubbles in the material. After a short drying time, these can be removed by smoothing again. Alternatively, prime with ARDEX P  51 or ARDEX P  52.
