Application Areas

High-performance sealing adhesive used for bonding films in the area of building joint seals between windows and masonry. In attic conversions, it can be used to bond wind barriers or vapor retarders, repair films, and seal pipe penetrations.

Application Instructions

The adhesion surfaces must be clean, free of separating agents, and load-bearing. Dust, grease, oil, and loose parts must be removed. The substrate can be moist but must not be wet. Tar and bitumen-containing substrates, glass, and certain natural stones are unsuitable as adhesion bases. The dispersion adhesive should not be used in ground or wet areas. Special attention must be paid to only lightly pressing the film. The adhesive needs a collar to accommodate movement and must not be pressed below 2 mm thickness. Do not bond in areas where standing water can occur.
