Remmers Interior Wood Stain

Wax stain based on natural resin and linseed oil

Application Area

Application:

• Material, ambient, and substrate temperature: minimum 15 °C to maximum 30 °C
• Stir well before use
• Apply by brush, roller, or spray
• Fluid beaker spray gun: nozzle: 1.3 – 1.8 mm, compressed air pressure: 1.5 – 2.5 bar
• Light intermediate sanding with abrasive sponge or P 240 – 320
• Avoid over-sanding
• Apply a second coat after drying
• Apply only thin coats
• Test compatibility, adhesion, and color tone with the substrate by applying test patches
• For dark shades, thorough priming is necessary to achieve an even color
• After colored primer on stairs and parquet, seal with stair & parquet lacquer or treat with hard wax oil

Drying

• Dust-dry: after approx. 2 hours
• Handleable: after approx. 4 hours
• Reworkable: after drying overnight
• Full load capacity after 7 days

Practical values at 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity

Drying depends on the type of wood and the absorption capacity of the substrate

Opened containers should be tightly sealed and used as soon as possible

Consumption:

• Approximately 50–100 ml/m per coat
