VARIO joint filler is a highly polymer-modified material gypsum according to DIN EN 13963 / Type 4B

Application area:
For filling joints and seams of VARIO edges with or without Rigips paper or fiberglass reinforcement strips
For filling the staggered joint seams of Glasroc F Ridurit and Glasroc F Riflex panels with Rigips fiberglass reinforcement strips
For filling Rigidur fiber cement boards with edge profiles SK without reinforcement strips, laying the panels at approx. 5 mm spacing and AK with Rigidur mesh reinforcement strips
For filling Rigiton perforated ceiling panels with joint seams without reinforcement strips
VARIO joint filler is particularly suitable for re-filling according to Q3 and Q4
For filling cracks and holes and for leveling uneven substrates
For filling fine ceiling joints

Substrate condition:
The substrate must be solid, clean, dry, frost-free, and free of dust

Preparation of the material:
Use clean containers, tools, and clean water, as otherwise, the product properties may be impaired. Do not add any additional substances
Gradually sprinkle VARIO joint filler into water until powder islands form on the surface. Mixing ratio: 5 kg VARIO joint filler to approx. 2.5 l water
After approx. 3 minutes of soaking time, stir VARIO joint filler into a lump-free mass
During stirring, the filler thickens and reaches a workable consistency
Too stiffly mixed VARIO joint filler can be diluted with water
After stirring, VARIO joint filler must not be sprinkled again. Clumping

Application without reinforcement strips:
All cut edges of gypsum boards should be chamfered with the VARIO edge planer and cleaned of gypsum dust, then lightly moistened
Fill along and across edges and smooth flush
After the VARIO joint filler has set, any excess material from the initial filling should be scraped off
