Processing:
Mix the contents of a 17.5 kg sack of LM 21T with approximately 9 liters of water and mix for about 5 minutes using conventional mixing machines or by hand until a smooth mortar is formed. Add water if necessary. Use the prepared mortar within 1–2 hours.

The fresh masonry must be protected from adverse weather conditions such as very high and low temperatures, frost, drafts, direct sunlight, and driving rain, e.g., by hanging with foil. Do not process at air and stone temperatures below 5 °C.

Consumption:
For 1 m² of wall surface with LM 21 T, the following experience values apply for hollow bricks. For solid bricks, approximately 15% less is assumed; for jointless pointing, up to 40% less. The specifications of the brick manufacturers must be observed.
