Storage

Stored in a dry place in the original sealed container, the material is storable for at least 24 months

Consumption

Coverage per coat: approx. 200 – 400 g/m²; Bonding agents: approx. 400 – 700 g/m²; Reaction resin mortar at 1 RT resin and 4 RT sand at 10 mm layer thickness: approx. 29 kg/m²

Substrate Preparation

The substrates must be sufficiently load-bearing, clean, dry, dimensionally stable, and free of substances that impair adhesion. Loose or peeling mortar and paint residues should be carefully removed. Suitable pretreatment methods include blasting, shot blasting, etc.

Processing

Mixing

For two-component reaction resins, the amount of component B is matched to component A. Partial quantities should be avoided. Completely empty component B into component A. Mix in a container of component A with a slow-running drill and a paddle mixer No. 2.8, ensuring to include edges and bottom areas. Mixing time approx. 2 minutes until a homogeneous, streak-free mass is achieved. To prevent residual sticking of component B, transfer the mixed material to another container, stir briefly, and then return to the original container. Mix again.

Reaction Resin Mortar

Mix dry quartz or Rhine sand in a ratio of 1 RT resin to 4 RT sand. Layer thickness: 6 mm to 20 mm. Due to the material's viscosity, forced mixers are recommended. After application, smooth the mortar to the desired layer thickness.

Repair of Damaged Structures

Prime with weberprim 807. Bonding agents with webertec 793 are applied, and fresh mortar is applied immediately, consisting of 1 RT webertec 793 and 3 to 5 RT quartz sand. For depths up to 2 cm, roughening is 0 to 4 mm; for depths over 2 cm, roughening is 0 to 8 mm.

Coating

Prime with weberprim 807. A 1- to 2-layer topcoat is applied on the still tacky primer. The waiting time between coats should be such that the previous coat remains tacky when the next is applied. Excessive sandblasting of the coating with quartz sand allows longer intervals and increases adhesion. Depending on the substrate, application amount, temperature, and air circulation, reworking time may be approx. 0.5 to 10 hours.
