Mineral render for producing a uniformly textured plaster surface, biocide-free

Application area:
weber.star 260 AquaBalance trowelled render is a finishing coat for external and internal use on weber.dur base coats.

Product features:

• without biocides, without preservatives
• surface-active, hydrophilic, for a balanced moisture management
• creates a healthy indoor climate through optimum water vapour permeability
• provides high resistance to driving rain for exposure class III according to DIN 4108
• can be applied mechanically and by hand

General notes:

• Fresh render surfaces must be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind or moisture exposure.
• Application and execution in accordance with DIN 18 350 VOB/C and DIN 18 550.
• Coverage information refers to the minimum coat thickness and may vary depending on the substrate and application method. Exact coverage values must be determined by test areas on site.
• Adjacent components must be separated from the render system.

Special notes

• Due to natural variations in the raw material supply and drying conditions, as well as the effects of processing and texture, the render colour tone may differ from the sample. This does not constitute a reduction in quality or a justified complaint regarding the material.
• Colour tone deviations due to execution and drying conditions should be equalised using the equalisation paint weber.ton 414 AquaBalance. This equalisation coat must be specified in tenders and offers.
• Order material for a project as far as possible in one go. Mix different batches with each other.
• weber.star 260 AquaBalance with balanced water management offers very high and long-lasting protection against algae and fungal growth.
• Continuously increased moisture as well as dirt adhesion, e.g. in splash-water areas, in the event of faulty drainage and in planting close to the façade can promote algae and fungal growth.

Substrate preparation

• The substrate must be load-bearing, dry and free from dust and substances that reduce adhesion.
• The base coat must be levelled to a true plane.
• Depending on the weather, the base coat is applied in good time (preferably on the previous day) or the universal primer weber.prim 403 is applied
• Observe dwell times of the respective render base.
