weber.tec Superflex D24 6kg thick coating Deitermann reactive waterproofing SG
Warning: Before applying Superflex D24, the substrate must be primed with weber.prim 900. Dilute weber.prim 900 undiluted to 1:1 RT with water. After drying, apply a scratch coat; then apply the coating.
Highly flexible, reactive and fast-setting, bitumen-free thick coating based on a new binder technology for reliable structural waterproofing
Application area:
For earth-contact waterproofing of cellars in both existing and new buildings, foundations. For subsequent waterproofing of existing anionic bitumen layers. For waterproofing of building plinths as well as window and door frame profiles that extend down to ground level. For waterproofing in and under walls. As waterproofing under screeds, as intermediate waterproofing for wet rooms and not for unoccupied balconies. Also for bonding polystyrene rigid foam boards.
Product description:
weber.tec Superflex D 24 is a 2-component, fast-setting, highly flexible, bitumen-free thick coating. With a general building authority test certificate. Meets the test requirements for PMBC according to DIN EN 15814 Table 1 in classes CB2-R3-W2A-C2A
Composition:
Cement, selected quartz sands, highly reactive polymers, reactive fillers and additives
Product properties:
- highly flexible, crack bridging of at least 2 mm
- meets the test requirements for PMBC
- high dry residue = 98 %
- 1,02 mm wet coat thickness (equivalent to at least 1,07 kg/m²) gives approx. 1 mm dry coat thickness
- rain-resistant quickly, approx. 1.5 hours at 4 mm coat thickness
- protective boards can be bonded after 4 hours
- weather-independent through-drying within 24 hours
- quickly pressure-water-tight, 1 bar after 24 hours
- for all mineral substrates; no render coat required on masonry
- can be rendered over, can be overcoated, frost-/de-icing salt resistant, UV-resistant
- radon gas-tight
- surface, plinth, horizontal waterproofing, levelling filler and bonding bridge in one
- enables cellar and plinth waterproofing from a single application
- resistant to waters that attack concrete up to the degree “strongly aggressive” according to DIN 4030
- sprayable using peristaltic pump technology and also using screw pump technology, e.g. Wagner PC 1030 with air support
Application temperature: + 1 °C to + 30 °C air and substrate temperature
Density: approx. 1,05 kg/dm³ of the ready-mixed material
Compressive strength: > 0,3 MN/m²
Consistency: slurryable, brushable, trowelable, sprayable
Working time: approx. 45 min. (at 23°/50% RH)
Rain resistance: after approx. 1.5 hours at 4 mm coat thickness*
Through-drying: approx. 2.5 hours*, weather-independent within 24 hours
Cleaning: with water while fresh
Application tools: masonry brush, smoothing trowel, spray machine
Through-drying time: approx. 24 hrs.
Storage: When stored in a dry, cool, frost-free place in the original sealed container, the material is storable for at least 12 months.
Substrate preparation:
- The substrate must be frost-free, sound, clean, sufficiently dry and free from tar pitch, nests and open cracks as well as burrs and other contaminants.
- Remove water-repellent and adhesion-reducing components; break edges and round coves.
- Close joints and recesses > 5 mm by applying a filling trowel coat with weber.tec 933.
- Round off internal coves at the floor-wall junction using weber.tec 933, radius 5 cm.
Application
Priming:
- weber.prim 900 diluted undiluted to 1 : 1 RT with water. After drying, apply the scratch coat; then apply the coating.
Mixing process:
- Mixing ratio: component A + B 1 : 1 by weight parts. Mix the material thoroughly without lumps.
- The mixing time is approx. 2 to 3 minutes. Mixing equipment: powerful drill with weber.sys mixing paddle No. 3 fitted.
Scratch coat:
- To close pores and voids as well as open butt joints up to 5 mm width, apply a full-surface scratch coat of weber.tec Superflex D 24, cut with weber.sys Hartquartz 0.1 to 0.3 mm (mixing ratio 3 : 1 by room parts). The scratch coat must not be damaged by the subsequent waterproofing application.
Surface waterproofing:
- Application is carried out in at least 2 coats. The second waterproofing coat should be applied as early as possible, provided the first coat is no longer damaged. For residual moisture / non-pressurised water (W1-E), the coats can be applied fresh-to-fresh.
- For non-pressurised water on earth-covered ceilings (W3-E) and pressurised water (W2.1-E), after the first coat weber.sys 981 is worked into the fresh waterproofing coat.
Surface waterproofing / floor:
- For waterproofing the ground slab against residual moisture / non-pressurised water (W1-E), apply the coating to the ground slab. After the waterproofing coat has dried through, lay a 2-layer polyethylene sheet as protection and slip layer, and then apply the floating screed. For floor waterproofing against pressurised water (W2.1-E), apply the thick coating with weber.sys 981 worked into the cleanliness layer.
Renovation of old waterproofing:
- When renovating old waterproofing, the application tip “Renovation of old bitumen waterproofing” must be observed.
