PCI Lastogum® waterproof, flexible protective layer under ceramic coverings in showers and bathrooms

Areas of application:

• Liquid surface waterproofing compound suitable for application by roll, brush or trowel.
• For internal use.
• For walls and floors.
• In areas not regulated by building authorities, in accordance with the ZDB code of practice “Composite waterproofing systems”, for moisture exposure class A 0.
• Exposure class A wall in accordance with the test principles for the granting of a general building authority test certificate.
• Suitable for use up to exposure class W4 in accordance with Ö-Norm B 3407.
• For wet areas with non-pressurised water, such as bathrooms, showers in residential construction, hotels, care homes and hospitals.
• On moisture-sensitive, absorbent substrates, e.g. gypsum renders, gypsum boards, gypsum fibreboards, plasterboards (e.g. Rigips), chipboard, anhydrite screeds in damp and wet rooms with household-type use.
• On mineral absorbent substrates, e.g. concrete, screed, cement render, aerated concrete, cement-based wall smoothing compounds such as e.g. PCI Pericret® or PCI Nanocret® FC and self-levelling levelling compounds, e.g. PCI Periplan® fine and PCI Periplan®.

Product properties:

• Waterproof, protects moisture-sensitive substrates.
• Deformable, compensates for stresses, substrate deformation, temperature fluctuations and shocks.
• Crack-bridging, high level of safety even with substrate cracks that occur at a later stage.
• Ready for use, easy to apply by rolling, brushing or trowelling.
• Two-colour, makes it easier to visually check layer thickness.
• Resistant to limewater, ensures adhesion between the protective layer and the laying mortar when the adhesive bed is continuously damp.
• Solvent-free, does not burden the environment and can be applied without health-related risks.
• Complies with the test principles for the granting of a general building authority test certificate for composite waterproofing systems in conjunction with adhesive mortars PCI Carraflex®, PCI Carraflott® NT, PCI Carralight®, PCI Carrament®, PCI Flexmörtel S1, PCI Flexmörtel S1 Rapid, PCI FT Rapid®, PCI FT-Extra, PCI FT-Flex, PCI Nanolight®, PCI Nanoflott® light, PCI Rapidflott®, PCI Rapidlight®, PCI Nanolight White®.
