Connection Layer BEKOTECEN F 12 x 09
Connection Layer BEKOTECEN F is an insulation screed tile made from impact-resistant polystyrene deep-drawing foil, designed to accommodate heating pipes. Connection Layer BEKOTECTHERM HR Ø 14 mm.
The BEKOTEC panels are connected by overlapping a row of studs and interlocking them. The precise fixation of the heating pipes is achieved between the undercut studs, depending on the required installation spacing, in a 75 mm grid.
The screed is properly installed in construction site-appropriate quality CTC25F4 ZE 20 or CAC25F4 AE 20, with a bending tensile strength of max F5, with a coverage of at least 8 mm and a maximum of 25 mm over the studs.
Note
For the installation of ceramic or natural stone, the decoupling mat DITRA must first be glued onto the screed.
The installation can proceed after the screed has sufficient load-bearing capacity. For calcium sulfate screed according to EN 12 FK, EN 23 F, and EN 18 FTS, the edge strip BRS 808 KSF should be used. Please consider our product data sheets 61 and 92.
