Bitumen thick coatings, both single-component (1K) and two-component (2K), are highly flexible, waterproof coatings used to protect buildings from moisture and water. They consist mainly of modified bitumen, which provides a durable seal and protective layer against external influences.

Main areas of application

1. Foundation waterproofing: Both types are often used to waterproof foundations and basements to prevent the penetration of ground moisture and water.
2. Building waterproofing: They are ideal for waterproofing parts of buildings that are in contact with the ground, such as exterior walls and base areas.
3. Roof waterproofing: Bitumen thick coatings can also be used to waterproof flat roofs and roof terraces to create a watertight barrier.
4. Wet rooms: Used in bathrooms, showers, and other wet rooms to prevent water penetration.

Easy to apply

ARDEX A 929 is white and has a creamy consistency, which makes it particularly easy to apply. The fine filler can be applied in layers up to 5 mm thick and smoothed out seamlessly to zero. ARDEX A 929 is low-emission and comes in an ergonomic 15 kg container with a carrying handle.

Wall filler with high mineral content

The second new product is the ready-to-use dispersion filler ARDEX A 800 READY. It is vapor-permeable and contains many mineral fillers. It is ideal for machine application and large areas – and therefore for commercial use. No primer is required for many substrates. The surface filler can be spread seamlessly to zero and can be used in layers up to 6 mm thick.

The new dispersion filler is therefore the ideal complement to the ARDEX A 828 wall and surface filler, which can be found on almost all construction sites. The filler is designed for large areas and is available in 25 kg containers.
