The resin and hardener components are pre-measured in the original containers in the correct mixing ratio. The hardener component, component B, is added to the resin component, component A, by piercing the sealing unit multiple times with a pointed object; the sealing unit is to be completely emptied. Subsequently, the sealing unit is removed, and the components are thoroughly mixed with a spiral mixer. For surface application, the processing is generally carried out with a short-pile roller. ARDEX EP 2000 can also be applied with a brush or roller. After mixing, ARDEX EP 2000 is workable for approximately 30 minutes at temperatures of 18°C to 20°C. Lower temperatures extend the processing time, while higher temperatures shorten it. ARDEX EP 2000 must be processed at temperatures above 5°C.
