DELTATERRAXX is optimized for various applications in horizontal drainage; the two-layer membrane is a universal solution according to DIN 18531 and DIN 4095 as a water-permeable drainage layer above the waterproofing. It is suitable as protection against standing water, for example, on paved underground garage ceilings, terraces, and vegetated flat roofs, as well as beneath the screed layer in parking deck construction.

The composite structure of a dimpled membrane with a welded geotextile forms a highly effective drainage layer. The geotextile facing upwards acts as a filter layer for the cavities formed by the underlying dimpled membrane. Its smooth backside ensures uniform and full-surface load distribution. Between DELTATERRAXX and the waterproofing membrane, a conventional 300 g fleece should be installed, for example.

With a height of only 9 mm, the dimpled membrane provides a low overall build-up. It has a significantly higher water drainage capacity than a gravel/split drainage layer. Its high water drainage capacity ensures unobstructed water flow and reliably protects against standing water and related issues such as moss growth or vegetation die-off. In terms of weight, DELTATERRAXX gravel/split drainage layers are also significantly superior. The protection and drainage membrane is suitable for both extensive and intensive roof greening.

DELTATERRAXX can also be used in cases of extreme water inflow. The self-adhesive overlap edge allows the membranes to be securely connected, preventing wind uplift.

DELTATERRAXX is suitable for walkable, driveable, and vegetated roof surfaces, as well as wooden terrace coverings such as Bangkirai.

For roof greening:
The two-layer membrane takes on the function of a protection, filter, and drainage layer in intensive greening with large substrate thicknesses. It ensures that no standing water can form.

For walkable and driveable surfaces:
Here, DELTATERRAXX forms a highly load-bearing protection and drainage layer, preventing possible frost damage in the pavement structure.

For terraces with tiles or wooden coverings:
DELTATERRAXX functions as a drainage layer and ensures rapid drainage in the build-up, preventing damage to the surface.

For gravel gardens:
Under a gravel covering, DELTATERRAXX offers optimal protection for the underlying roof waterproofing.
