The DELTAMAUERWERKSSPERRE is a permanently durable, highly flexible masonry barrier membrane made of polyolefin. It is also suitable as a moisture barrier under screed.
The DELTAMAUERWERKSSPERRE is 0.4 mm thick, easily rollable, and easy to process.
The top and bottom surfaces are slip-resistant profiled: this allows for an optimal connection with the mortar.
The membrane is bitumen-compatible, rot-resistant, and UV stabilized. Even at low temperatures, the masonry barrier remains highly flexible, ensuring the material remains crack-free permanently.
The DELTAMAUERWERKSSPERRE is installed in a single layer. The contact surfaces with mortar of group II or III according to DIN 1053 should be adjusted to a thickness that creates a level surface without unevenness.
The membrane should be pressed firmly into the mortar. In case of overlaps, the membranes must overlap by at least 20 cm to achieve optimal moisture protection. The width of the membrane should be chosen so that no moisture bridges can form on either side of the built wall.
