Bayferrox Color Pigments
The color pigments marketed under the product brands Bayferrox are available in the colors red, yellow, green, brown, and black. Within the color groups, numerous shades are possible. The Bayferrox product range is based on iron oxide pigments.
Synthetically produced inorganic color pigments of the Bayferrox range are available in the forms of powder, micronized powder, granulate, and as compact pigment. All products are characterized by very high quality; they exhibit excellent color tone consistency, outstanding lightfastness, as well as weather and chemical resistance.
BAYFERROX 222
Bayferrox 222 is an iron oxide red pigment in powder form. It can be used for coloring a wide variety of building materials. Additionally, it is used in the foundry industry for casting, mold making, or foundry sand. Since the manufacturing process, Laux process, involves a calcination step at very high temperatures, this pigment has a higher hue strength compared to comparable calcined pigments, resulting in excellent stability against color change during intense abrasion. Due to the high-temperature calcination, the pigment possesses excellent heat stability.
BAYFERROX 318
Bayferrox 318 is an iron oxide black pigment in powder form. It can be used for coloring a wide variety of building materials. The product is produced using the Laux process, which results in products with recognized high quality and application advantages.
