Chimney Insulation Material for three-shell residential chimneys according to DIN 18 160

IK plus ensures free mobility of the inner pipe, safety, and high functionality of three-shell residential chimneys according to DIN 18 160.
The efficiency of the heating system is significantly increased by the insulation layer, which can be applied with IK plus in any desired thickness.

Application:
Step 1
Prepare the contents of an IK plus container with approximately 8 l of mixing water in a free-fall mixer, moistening to soil moisture. Mixing time approx. 3 minutes. Apply in sections up to 50 cm with slight compaction.

Step 2
Compaction degree: 10 %, e.g., 5 cm compaction at 50 cm chimney height.

Note:
When IK plus is mixed by hand, the entire contents of an 80 l sack of dry material are prepared with approximately 9 l of mixing water to achieve the necessary final moisture consistency.
