Priming and stain in one coat, the innovative long-term protection based on oil!
Transparent, silk-matte wood coating based on natural oil for all wood in outdoor areas. Open-pored, allows the wood to breathe, and reduces swelling and shrinking. Water-repellent, weather-resistant, and UV-resistant. Does not peel, flake, or crack off without sanding; simply overcoat. A primer is not necessary. Light and seamless application; dries during brushing process without sticking. The coating contains active ingredients for protection against mold, algae, and fungal infestation, and has been proven to withstand extreme climatic conditions for decades.

Application areas:
Osmo Holzschutz ÖlLasur is ideal for all outdoor wood: doors, windows, and window shutters, large components, carports, wooden facades, balconies, wooden terraces, fences, pergolas, garden furniture, and garden houses, as well as non-primed components.
Shelf life:
5 years or longer if stored dry and tightly sealed. If it becomes viscous due to frost, store at room temperature for 24-36 hours before use.
Preparation:
The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free, with a maximum moisture content of 20%. Osmo Holzschutz ÖlLasur is ready to use, do not dilute. Mix thoroughly. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before assembly. Thoroughly clean old open-pored coatings. Old paint and varnish coatings must be completely removed. Always wear a dust mask when sanding. The result of the coating depends on the wood type; therefore, especially on unknown substrates, a test coat is recommended.
If additional protection against rot, blue stain, or insect infestation is desired, the wood should be coated all around with Osmo HolzImprauml;gnierung WR beforehand.
Application:
Apply with Osmo brush or microfiber roller along the wood grain and thoroughly coat. Allow approximately 4-6 hours to dry in well-ventilated areas. Then apply a second coat. For renovation, usually only one coat on a clean surface is sufficient.
