- For joint widths from 2 to 8 mm
Substrate Preparation
Immediately after laying the tiles, scrape the joints evenly and deeply to the tile thickness and clean. Allow the adhesive or laying mortar to mature.
Processing
Preparation of the joint mortar powder: see processing data table. Fill into a clean work container, add powder, and knead to a plastic, lump-free mortar. For small quantities up to 1 kg, knead intensively by hand. Larger quantities should be mixed with a suitable mixing device, e.g., from Collomix, attached to a drill.
After a maturation time of approximately 3 minutes, knead again.
Grouting
Process PCI joint mortar in the wall and floor areas with PCI rubber jointing disc. Fill the joint mortar fully into the joint. If necessary, smooth and clean with a damp sponge or sponge board after sufficient setting. After drying, remove the remaining mortar film with a damp sponge. Do not use a dry cloth for cleaning, as there is a risk of smearing due to the rubbing of dried joint mortar into the still moist joints.
