Product Description

Solvent-free water-based adhesive, particularly suitable for plastics films such as polyethylene for creating airtight seals between films and other building materials. Physically drying.

Application Areas

High-performance sealant adhesive used for bonding films in the area of building joint seals between windows and masonry. In attic conversions, it can be used to bond wind barriers or vapor retarders, repair films, and seal pipe penetrations.

Application Instructions

• The bonding surfaces must be clean, free of separating agents, and load-bearing. Dust, grease, oils, and loose parts must be removed. The substrate can be moist but must not be wet. Tar and bitumen-containing substrates, glass, and certain natural stones are unsuitable as bonding surfaces.
• The dispersion adhesive should not be used in ground or wet areas.
• It is especially important that the film is only lightly pressed. The adhesive needs a body to accommodate movement and should not be pressed below 2 mm thickness. Do not perform bonding in areas where standing water can occur.
