Profiplus Aufbrennsperre 12.5l Primer for interior and exterior pigmented

Properties/Application Areas:
ProfiplusAcrylreg; ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; is a solvent-free, yellowish pigmented, roll- and brushable, as well as sprayable special primer from carefully coordinated organic binders such as synthetic resin dispersions, adhesion promoters, and pigments.
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; reduces the absorbency of the substrate and the risk of "blooming" of plasters on aerated concrete, calcium silicate bricks, brickwork, as well as all highly or variably absorbent substrates. The formation of shrinkage cracks is thus limited. ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; does not have the properties of a plaster primer.
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements for the substrate:
The surface to be painted must be sufficiently stable, load-bearing, dry, dust-free, and free of loose parts, harmful efflorescence, contamination, resin layers, and oil. In case of doubt, test areas should be applied on-site, and after a test plaster application, cut and scratch tests should be performed.

Moisture from the back side must be excluded.
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; must not be applied on frozen or damp substrates.

Application/ Drying:
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; should be stirred well before use. Application of this primer is done undiluted by full-surface brushing with a brush, a short-haired lambswool roller, or suitable spray equipment. The drying time before plastering at 20°C and 65% relative humidity is approximately 12 hours.
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; must not be applied at temperatures below 5°C for substrate and air temperature. Protect from temperatures below 5°C until fully dry. Good ventilation shortens drying times. Do not work "wet on wet". A final substrate assessment is essential.

Pro tip:
Floor coverings, tiles, natural stones, wood, aluminum, glass, and other sensitive surfaces should be protected from paint by waterproof masking. Tools should be cleaned with water after use. Contaminations or splashes should be washed off with warm water while the primer is still fresh.

Material consumption:
The exact material consumption must be determined on-site. Approximate values: 0.10 l/m² to 0.15 l/m² per coat. Consumption varies greatly depending on the substrate.

Storage:
ProfiplusAufbrennsperrereg; must be stored in closed containers in a cool, frost-free environment. Frost-free storage must also be ensured during transport and on-site. Opened containers should be tightly sealed. Unopened original containers should not be stored for more than 12 months.
