Substrate Requirements
- Load-bearing, clean, and dust-free
Preparations
- Remove gravel and mortar residues
- Remove gravel nests and fill cavities
- Clean and degrease non-mineral substrates thoroughly; roughening may be necessary
- Apply contact layer of sealing material to mineral and porous substrates
- Refer to the current technical data sheet of the respective product for detailed instructions
Application
- Lay sealing material as adhesive, fully bond the joint tape without bubbles
- In corner areas, overlap Tape VF 100 IC and Tape VF 75 EC with the tape
- For penetrations, use Tape VF 120 VC or a formed part made from Tape VF
- The sealing layers depend on the sealing product used
Processing Instructions
The permissible processing temperatures depend on the properties of the sealing products used.
Apply the sealing material perpendicular to the joint tape. The joint tape must not be damaged during application.
