Requirements for the substrate

• Load-bearing, clean, and dust-free

Preparations

• Remove plasters, paints, and coatings at least 80 cm above the damage zone
• Chisel out friable joints at least 2 cm deep
• Pre-wet absorbent substrates to a matte dampness
• Substrate: Absorbent with low strength
• Apply SP Prep as an adhesion bridge in mesh form covering 50-70 % with a maximum layer thickness of 5 mm
• Alternatively: Apply SP Levell as a scratch coat contact layer
• Substrate: Weakly absorbent
• Apply SP Prep fully covering 100 % with a maximum layer thickness of 5 mm
• Alternatively: Apply SP Levell as a scratch coat contact layer
• Substrate: Mineral sealing slurries
• Apply SP Prep fully covering 100 % with a maximum layer thickness of 5 mm as an adhesion bridge into the last slurry layer, freshly in fresh
