SchluterBEKOTECEN is an insulation board made of polystyrene with raised embossments, designed to accommodate heating pipes. SchluterBEKOTECTHERMHR Ø 16 mm. It is equipped with a tongue-and-groove connection for interlocking. The precise fixation of the heating pipes is achieved between the undercut raised bumps, depending on the required installation spacing, in a 75 mm grid. The screed is properly installed on-site using standard quality CTC25F4 ZE 20 or CAC25F4 AE 20, with a bending tensile strength of max F5, with a cover of at least 8 mm and a maximum of 25 mm over the bumps.

Type SchluterBEKOTECEN/P consists of polystyrene EPS 033 DEO, white, without foil overlay, and is suitable for conventional cement screed.

Type SchluterBEKOTECEN/PF consists of polystyrene EPS 033 DEO with an orange foil overlay, making it particularly suitable for liquid screeds, e.g., calcium sulfate screed.

Note:

Before laying ceramic or natural stone, the SchluterDITRA decoupling membrane must be glued onto the screed. The installation can be carried out after the screed has sufficient load-bearing capacity. For calcium sulfate screed, a residual moisture of 2% is required. For the installation of the insulation boards EN 12 FK, the edge strip BRS 808 KSF must be used.
