SchluterQUADEC
Application and Function
SchluterQUADEC is a high-quality finishing profile for wall edge corners on tile coverings and provides good edge protection. The visible surface of the profile forms a right-angled external corner of the tile covering.
The integrated joint bar in the aluminum profiles creates a defined joint chamber in front of the tile.
The profiles, available in various materials, colors, and surface finishes, allow for matching the edge colors of the covering to the tile and joint colors or creating interesting contrasts for decorative purposes. SchluterQUADEC and –A harmonize well with the edging profiles SchluterQUADECFS or SchluterDESIGNLINE. In addition to the decorative effect of the profiles, the tiles in the edge area are effectively protected from damage caused by mechanical impacts.
SchluterQUADEC made of stainless steel is particularly durable as a edge protector and can also be used as a floor edge, decorative inlay in the floor area, or stair edge.
Similarly, SchluterQUADEC can be used to create edges, corners, or skirting board covers on other covering materials such as carpet, parquet, natural stone tiles, or epoxy resin screeds. For simple and neat connections of the SchluterQUADEC profiles at interior and exterior corners, suitable shaped parts are available.
