Screw installation without dowel for economical processing
The small drill hole diameter of 6 mm allows efficient series installation
The continuous thread enables tension- and stress-free fastening of the frame to the substrate
The high-low thread at the screw tip and additional flange ribs reduce the insertion torque and enable a gentle installation that preserves the frame
According to ift Rosenheim, suitable for fastening plastic windows in brickwork
The fischer metal frame dowel F 10 M is a special dowel for tension-free spacing installation of window and door frames. It consists of a metal shell and a countersunk head screw made of galvanised steel. The F 10 M is installed quickly in through-penetration mounting. When tightening the screw, the cone is drawn into the dowel shell, expanding and clamping against the wall of the drill hole. This results in tension-free fastening of the window frame in solid and cavity wall materials. The fischer metal frame dowel F 10 M is also suitable for fixing lintels.
Advantages
The metal frame dowel FM achieves a fire resistance duration of R 120. This allows use in fire protection-relevant applications.
The operating principle prevents the window frame from being pulled against the substrate and ensures a tension-free and durable fastening of the frame.
The special dowel geometry anchors metal and plastic profiles securely against tension and compression, providing a safe hold for the window frame.
The separately available cover caps ensure a discreet covering of the screw head.
Applications:
Window frames made of wood, plastic, and aluminium
