webersys 832 Impact Sound Insulation and Decoupling Plate

webersys 832 is suitable for installation directly beneath ceramic coverings on wooden substrates, concrete and screed surfaces, adherent old tiles and natural stone coverings, heating screeds with water-conducting underfloor heating, only 4 mm plate and mixed substrates. Suitable for use with traffic loads up to 5 KN/m². The impact sound insulation and decoupling plates can additionally be used as a thermal insulating intermediate layer in wooden constructions as well as in renovation areas, on poorly insulated substrates in old and new buildings.

General Notes

• Constructive building joint and edge connection joints should be matched accordingly
• The specified impact sound improvement measure TVM according to DIN ISO 140 8 is based on our laboratory investigations and measurements by external testing institutes. The actual impact sound improvement depends on the specific site conditions. In case of doubt, trial panels should be installed on site and sound measurements carried out.
• The current ZDB sheets and applicable guidelines must be observed.

Special Notes

• Young load-bearing cement screeds must be covered from day 2 to day 5
• For load distribution, ceramic coverings with a minimum size of 15 x 15 cm, maximum 60 x 60 cm or 100 x 60 cm should be used. Only floor tiles with high bending tensile strength and a minimum thickness of 8 mm may be installed.
• When used on heating screeds, webersys 832 should be applied in a 4 mm layer thickness. On wooden substrates, a minimum layer thickness of 9 mm should be installed.
• Application of webersys 832 in wet and humid rooms is recommended in combination with weberxerm 844. Here, our 2K sealing and bonding system weberxerm 844 is applied directly onto webersys 832 after priming with weberprim 801.
• Structures with decoupling systems are special constructions and must be agreed upon separately.
