Attention: Before applying webertec 915, the substrate must be primed with weberprim 901. As a primer for bituminous thick coatings, webertec 901 should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 RT and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.

Polystyrene-filled, flexible, one- or two-component bituminous thick coating.

Application area:
For earth-contact waterproofing of basement walls, floor slabs, foundations. Also for bonding polystyrene rigid foam boards.

Product description:
webertec 915 is a one- or two-component bituminous thick coating CE certified according to DIN EN 15814.

Composition:
Bitumen, polystyrene.

Product properties:

• quick rainproof
• flexible, crack-bridging
• high dry film thickness, approx. 90%
• salt and frost resistant in hardened state
• resistant to aggressive waters attacking concrete up to the degree of strong attack according to DIN 4030

Application temperature: 5 °C to 35 °C air and object temperature
Density: approx. 0.65 kg/dm³
Cleaning: water when fresh, dried webersys 992
Mixing ratio: 30 L base mass / 2 kg powder

Application tools: layer thickness trowel, smoothing trowel
Drying time: minimum 3 days
Storage: In a dry, cool, frost-free environment in the original sealed container, the material remains usable for at least 12 months.

Consumption / yield:

• for damp/non-ponding seepage water: min 4.0 l/m
• for non-pressurized water: min 4.0 l/m
• for ponding seepage water: min 5.5 l/m
• as plate adhesive on damp/non-ponding seepage water: approx. 2 l/m

Substrate preparation:

• The substrate must be frost-free, firm, clean, sufficiently dry, and free of tar pitch, nests, and open cracks, as well as ridges and other contaminants.
• Water-repellent and adhesion-reducing components must be removed, edges are to be broken, and corners rounded.
• 5 mm are to be sealed with webertec 933 filler mortar.
• Chamfers at the floor-wall connection are to be rounded with webertec 933, radius 5 cm.
• Before applying the thick coating, critical areas at the floor/wall transition are to be protected against moisture ingress with webertec 933 chamfering spatula HKS.

Processing

Priming:
webertec 901 should be diluted 1:10 with water.
Porous concrete and sandy substrates should be primed with weberprim 801.

Mixing for two-component processing:
Base mass and powder component are proportionally matched and mixed with stir paddle No. 4 to form a homogeneous, lump-free mass.

Scraping sealing:
To seal pores and cavities as well as open joints up to 5 mm wide, a full-surface scraping seal with the thick coating is to be performed. The scraping seal must not be damaged by the subsequent waterproofing layer.

Sheet waterproofing / wall:
Application is carried out in at least 2 coats. The application of the second waterproofing layer should be done as early as possible, once the first layer is no longer damaged. For ponding seepage water, after the first coat, webersys 981 is worked into the fresh waterproofing layer.

Sheet waterproofing / floor:
For waterproofing against ground moisture, the coating is applied in two passes on the floor slab. After drying, a polyethylene foil (2-layer) is laid as protection and slip layer, and the floating screed is applied on top. For waterproofing against ponding seepage water, the coating is applied on the cleanliness layer.

Highly concentrated, solvent-free, universally applicable bitumen emulsion.

Application area:
Priming for bituminous thick coatings as well as sealing and protective coatings on concrete, plaster, masonry, steel, and roofing felt. The product can be used as a foundation coat in areas with aggressive groundwater. It is also suitable as a primer on trapezoidal sheet metal and for the production of bituminous mortar for structures within the ground or in shaft construction.

webertec 901 is a solvent-free bitumen emulsion.

Composition:
Bitumen emulsion.

Processing temperature: >4 °C
Density: approx. 1.1 kg/dm³
Application tools: mason’s trowel, roofer’s broom, ceiling brush, roller, spray machine
Storage: In a dry, cool, frost-free environment in the original sealed container, the material remains usable for at least 12 months.

Consumption / yield:
As a protective coating in 2 coats: approx. 450 ml/m
As a primer for bituminous thick coatings: approx. 15–30 ml/m

Substrate preparation

• Dry or slightly moist, frost-free masonry, fully jointed, absorbent surfaces should be primed with a primer coat.
• Concrete surfaces should be roughened, and if necessary, leveled with suitable mortar.

Processing

As a primer for bituminous thick coatings:

• For priming bituminous thick coatings, webertec 901 should be diluted 1:10 with water and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.

As a primer:

• Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and application, the product can be diluted with water by approx. 30% to 70%.

As a topcoat for mineral substrates:

• After drying of the primer, 1 to 2 undiluted topcoats are required.

As a primer for bitumen membranes:

• Primer from 1 RT emulsion and 13 RT water.

As a primer for trapezoidal sheet metal:

• Primer from 1 RT emulsion and 3 RT water.
