webertec Superflex 10 Bitumen Thick Coating 30L webertec 901 Bitumen Primer 5L
Attention: Before applying Superflex 10, the substrate must be primed with weberprim 901. As a primer for the bitumen thick coatings, webertec 901 should be diluted in a ratio of 1:10 RT with water and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.
webertec Superflex 10 Bitumen Thick Coating 30 L
Polystyrene-filled, highly flexible 2-component bitumen thick coating for secure building waterproofing
Application area:
For earth-contact waterproofing of basement walls, floor slabs, foundations, and underground garage ceilings. Additionally, the waterproofing can be used under screeds for intermediate sealing of wet and damp rooms, non-occupied balconies, or terraces. The product can also be used for bonding polystyrene rigid foam boards.
Product description:
webertec Superflex 10 is a two-component bitumen thick coating, with a general building authority test certificate CE approved according to DIN EN 15814 PMBC according to 18533.
Composition:
Plastics, bitumen emulsion, fillers
Product properties:
- Environmentally friendly because solvent-free
- Highly flexible, crack-bridging
- High dry film thickness, 90 %
- 1.1 mm fresh layer thickness results in approximately 1 mm dry layer
- Quick rainproof, after approx. 2.5 to 3 hours at 4 mm layer thickness
- Suitable for all mineral substrates, no plaster layer required on masonry
- Resistant to water attacking concrete until the degree of severe attack according to DIN 4030
- Salt frost resistant, frost-proof in the hardened state
- Radon gas tight
- Sprayable with peristaltic pump technology as well as with screw pump technology, e.g., Wagner PC 1030 with air support
Processing temperature: 1°C to 35°C air and object temperature
Density: approx. 0.7 kg/dm³ of the finished mixture
Compressive strength: C2A according to DIN EN 15814
Mixing ratio in GT: 4.45 : 1 A : B
Dry film thickness: 90 Vol%
Processing time: 1 to 2 hours
Cleaning: Water when fresh, dried webersys 992
Application tools: Layer thickness trowel, smoothing trowel
Drying time: approx. 3 days
Storage: In a dry, cool, frost-free storage in the original sealed container, the material is at least 12 months storage stable
Substrate preparation:
- The substrate must be frost-free, firm, clean, sufficiently dry, and free from tar pitch, nests, and open cracks, as well as ridges and other contaminants
- Water-repellent and adhesion-reducing components must be removed, edges must be broken, and corners rounded
- Joints and depressions > 5 mm are to be sealed with webertec 933 filler mortar
Application
Priming:
- webertec 901 is to be diluted 1:10 with water
- Porous concrete and sandy substrates are to be primed with weberprim 801
Mixing:
- The base mass and powder component are proportionally matched and mixed with a stir paddle No. 4 to a homogeneous, lump-free mass
Scratch coating:
- To seal pores and cavities as well as open joints up to 5 mm wide, a full-surface scratch coat with the thick coating must be applied. The scratch coat must not be damaged by the subsequent waterproofing layer
Surface waterproofing:
- The application is carried out in at least 2 coats. The two waterproofing layers should be applied as early as possible, once the first layer is no longer damaged. For damp/waterproofing W1E, the coats can be applied wet-on-wet.
- For non-pressing water on earth-covered ceilings W3E and pressing water W21E, after the first application, webersys 981 is worked into the fresh waterproofing layer.
- For waterproofing of the floor slab against dampness/non-pressing water W1E, the application is on the floor slab. After drying, a polyethylene foil (2-layer) is laid as protection and slip layer, and the floating screed is applied on top. For waterproofing against pressing water W21E, the thick coating is applied under incorporation of webersys 981 on the clean surface.
Highly concentrated, solvent-free, universally applicable bitumen emulsion
Application area:
Priming for bitumen thick coatings as well as sealing and protective coatings on concrete, plaster, masonry, steel, and roofing felt. The product can be used as a foundation coat in areas with aggressive groundwater. Furthermore, it is suitable as a primer on trapezoidal sheet metal and for the production of bituminous mortar for structures within the ground or in shaft construction.
