Product description:
weberstar 240 is a factory-produced, mineral dry mortar according to DIN EN 998-1
Composition:
White cement, white lime hydrate, graded mineral aggregates, hydrophobic agent, additives for improved processing and adhesion to the substrate, lime, cement, and lightfast pigments

Consumption / Coverage:

Substrate preparation:
- The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that reduce adhesion
- The base render must be flush and even
- Depending on weather conditions, the base render may need to be pre-roughened or the universal primer weberprim 403 applied
- Observe the stand times of the respective substrate
Processing:
- During processing and drying, the temperature of the air, the materials used, and the substrate must not fall below 5°C
- No additives should be mixed into the mortar
Machine processing: The mortar can be processed with all common plastering machines, see equipment planner
Hand processing: Thoroughly mix the contents of a bag with the specified amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved
- Apply the mortar to the substrate and smooth with a trowel to the desired grain size
- Texture the applied material with a plastic trowel, wooden disc, or PUBrett to achieve the desired surface
- To avoid color differences and joint lines, do not work with different tools, work wet-in-wet, and do not rework fresh surfaces. To prevent tool marks, work in offset layers
