weberstar 223 Screed Plaster Jura is an surface coating for exterior and interior on weberdur base plasters, as well as a topcoat for webertherm insulation and webertherm thermal insulation composite systems

General Notes:

• Fresh plaster surfaces must be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind, or moisture exposure
• Application and execution according to DIN 18 350 VOB/C and DIN 18 550
• Consumption data refer to the minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on substrate and processing. Exact consumption values should be determined through trial applications on the site
• Adjacent building components must be separated from the plaster system

• Due to natural fluctuations in raw material quality and drying conditions, as well as effects of processing and texture, the plaster color tone may differ from the sample. This does not constitute a quality defect or justified material complaint
• Color deviations caused by application and drying conditions should be equalized with the leveling paint weberton 414 AquaBalance. This leveling coat must be specified in tenders and offers
• When applying AquaBalance plaster systems, colors with AquaBalance technology, e.g., weberton 414 AquaBalance, should also be used
• Order material for a single project as a whole; mix different batches
• weberstar 223 AquaBalance with balanced moisture content offers very high and durable protection against algae and mold growth
• Constantly increased humidity and dirt deposits, e.g., in splash zones, due to faulty drainage, and planting near facades can promote algae and mold growth

Substrate Preparation

• The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that impair adhesion
• The base plaster must be flush and even
• Depending on weather conditions, the base plaster should be primed in advance, preferably the day before, or the universal primer weberprim 403 should be applied
• Observe the curing times of the respective base coat
• Sandblasted plaster surfaces, gypsum boards, and solid gypsum boards, among others, should be primed with a bonding primer
