Attention: Before applying webertec Superflex more IBV, the substrate must be primed with weberprim 901. As a primer for bituminous thick coatings, webertec 901 should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 RT and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.

Application area:
For ground contact waterproofing of basement walls, floor slabs, foundations. For intermediate waterproofing under screed in wet and damp rooms, balconies, terraces not inhabited. For bonding polystyrene foam boards.

Product description:
webertec Superflex more is a 1- or 2-component bituminous thick coating tested according to DIN EN 15814.

Consumption / yield:

• For ground moisture/non-stagnant seepage water: min 3.7 l/m²
• For non-pressing water: min 3.7 l/m²
• For ponding seepage water: min 4.8 l/m²
• As plate adhesive for ground moisture/non-stagnant seepage water: approx. 2 l/m²

Substrate preparation:

• The substrate must be frost-free, firm, clean, sufficiently dry, and free of tar pitch, nests, and gaping cracks as well as ridges and other contaminants.
• Water-repellent and adhesion-reducing components must be removed, edges are to be broken, and corners rounded.
• Before applying the thick coating, critical areas at the ground/wall transition must be protected against moisture ingress with webertec 933 cove joint filler HKS.
• Joints and depressions > 5 mm are to be sealed with webertec 933 filler.
• Coves at the floor-wall connection are to be rounded with webertec 933, radius 5 cm.

Processing

Primer:

• webertec 901 should be diluted 1:10 with water.
• Porous concrete and sandy substrates should be primed with weberprim 801.

Mixing for 2-component processing:

• Base mass and powder component are to be proportionally matched and mixed with a stir paddle No. 4 to a homogeneous, lump-free mass.

Crack filling:

• To seal pores and cavities as well as open joints up to 5 mm wide, a full-surface crack filling with the thick coating must be performed. The crack filling must not be damaged by the subsequent waterproofing layer.

Sheet waterproofing / Wall:

• The application of the thick coating is carried out in at least 2 layers. The second waterproofing layer should be applied as early as possible, once the first layer is no longer damaged. For ponding seepage water, after the first application, webersys 981 is worked into the fresh coating layer.

Sheet waterproofing / Floor:

• For waterproofing against ground moisture, the application is carried out in two passes on the floor slab. After drying, a polyethylene foil (2-layer) is laid as protection and slip layer, and the floating screed is applied on top. For waterproofing against ponding seepage water, the waterproofing is applied on the clean surface layer.

Application area:
Priming for bituminous thick coatings as well as sealing and protective coatings on concrete, plaster, masonry, steel, and roofing felt. The product can be used as a foundation coating in areas with aggressive groundwater. It is also suitable as a primer on trapezoidal sheet metal and for the production of bituminous mortar for structures within the ground or in shaft construction.

Consumption / yield:
As a protective coating in 2 coats: approx. 450 ml/m²
As a primer for bituminous thick coatings: approx. 15–30 ml/m²

Substrate preparation:

• Dry or slightly moist, frost-free masonry, fully jointed, absorbent surfaces should be primed with a primer.
• Concrete surfaces should be roughened, if necessary, with suitable tools or leveled.

Processing:
As a primer for bituminous thick coatings:

• webertec 901 should be diluted 1:10 with water and applied to the previously cleaned substrate.

As a primer coat:

• Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and application, the product can be diluted approx. 30% to 70% with water.

As a top coat for mineral substrates:

• After drying of the primer coat, 1 to 2 undiluted top coats are required.

As a primer for bituminous membranes:

• Primer from 1 RT emulsion and 13 RT water.

As a primer for trapezoidal sheets:

• Primer from 1 RT emulsion and 3 RT water.
