The Bauder Green Roof Package Light has been specifically developed for lightweight roof constructions. The water retention board can hold back 10l/m². This additional water reservoir allows for a reduction of the substrate thickness to 50mm. The total weight of the entire structure, when water-saturated, is approximately 70kg/m². Due to the smaller root zone, the biodiversity is limited compared to the standard package. For roofs with sufficient load-bearing capacity, we therefore always recommend the standard package.

The voucher for the 220 flat ball-stemmed plants and the starter Düngers for 18m² are included in each standard package and are located on the pallet. Fill out this voucher and send it by post or fax. Delivery is made on the next possible shipping day. Shipping days are Monday and Wednesday. Plants are delivered within 48 hours via parcel service. No shipments are possible over the weekend.

Bauder offers easy and quick-to-install complete solutions with its green roof packages, enabling the secure and cost-effective extensive greening of garages, carports, and all other small surfaces. Green roofings not only look attractive,
but also offer a range of benefits:

• Green roofs store rainwater and delay runoff
• They reduce sealing fees in municipalities with split wastewater charges

• They protect the roof waterproofing from temperature extremes, UV radiation, mechanical damage, and thus extend its lifespan

Ideal periods for installation are spring and autumn, when the growth conditions for flat ball-stemmed plants are optimal. When planting in summer, the green roof structure must be watered thoroughly 2-3 times a week during the establishment period of approximately 4 weeks. Planting in winter is not recommended — even in mild climates. Additionally, flat ball-stemmed plants are not available before March under normal weather conditions.

Good to know: Extensive green roofs generally require little maintenance. During the first two growing seasons, the green roof must be maintained regularly. After two growing seasons, the planting usually develops a continuous cover. At this point, two maintenance visits per year are sufficient.
