Colorful variety and unmatched durability for all weather conditions!

Transparent, silk-matte wood coating based on natural oils for all outdoor wood. Open-pored, allows the wood to breathe, reduces swelling and shrinking. Water-repellent, extremely weather- and UV-resistant. Does not crack, blätter, peel or flake. Can be recoated without sanding; a primer is not necessary. Easy to apply and free of streaks. Does not dry on the stroke. The dried coating is safe for humans, animals, and plants, saliva- and sweat-proof according to DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys according to EN 713.

Application area:
Osmo TerrassenÖle protect and maintain wooden decks, garden furniture, and privacy screens made from numerous coniferous and hardwoods, such as pressure-impregnated pine, Douglas fir, cedar, oak, or Bangkirai. Also suitable for transparent-colored treatment of teak, eucalyptus, and other hardwoods, as well as thermally modified wood.

Storage stability:
5 years or longer if stored dry and tightly sealed. If thickened due to frost, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Preparation:
Wood with a particularly high content of wood constituents should be weathered before the first treatment for at least 4 weeks or wiped with Osmo Pinselreiniger to degrease. Resinous wood types, such as larch and Douglas fir, should be weathered for at least 6 weeks. Fresh pressure-impregnated wood, Massaranduba, Bangkirai, or Garapa should be weathered for at least 3 months before the first treatment. Already grayish wood should be degrayed with Osmo HolzEntgrauern KraftGel before treatment. The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free, with a maximum wood moisture of 20%. Osmo TerrassenÖl is ready to apply, do not dilute. Thoroughly stir. Clean old open-pore coatings thoroughly. Old paint and varnish coatings must be completely removed. Always wear a dust mask when sanding. If possible, apply the first coat all around the wood before installation. For additional protection against rot, blue stain, and insect infestation, paint the wood all around with Osmo HolzImpraumlgnierung WR. The coating result depends on the wood quality; therefore, especially with unknown substrates, a test coat is recommended.

Application:
Apply with a firm brush, Osmo Flächenstreicher, or with a lint-free cloth, e.g., for garden furniture, in the direction of the wood grain on clean, dry wood. For quick work on large surfaces, we recommend the Osmo Flüssigbodenbürste 150 mm, tailored for terrace boards. Apply evenly and thoroughly. Let dry for about 12 hours in well-ventilated areas. Then apply a second coat, also thinly. If a less intense color result is desired, the second coat should be applied with the clear AntiRutsch TerrassenÖl. Not applicable for the colorless TeakÖl 007.
