Product Description

Opaque, initially slightly silky-glossy, then semi-matte wood coating based on natural oils for wood in exterior areas. Wood tone and grain are covered, but the wood structure remains visible. Open-pored allows the wood to breathe, reduces cracking and warping. Water-repellent, weather- and UV-resistant. Does not blister, peel, or flake. Can be simply overcoated without sanding. No primer needed. Light and easy to apply without streaks. Dries during application without skin formation. The dried coating is safe for humans, animals, and plants, saliva and sweat resistant according to DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys according to EN 713.

OSMO Landhausfarbe is ideal for all exterior wood where a particularly durable coating is desired. Suitable for wood facades, balconies, windows and window frames, fences, pergolas, wood shingles, garden furniture and garden houses, carports, etc. Perfect for renewing old open-pore coatings and weathered wood surfaces.

Approximately 10-12 hours under standard conditions (23°C, 50% relative humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity extend the drying time. Good ventilation recommended. Dust-dry after about 6 hours.

1 l covers approximately 6 m² per coat. The product's coverage depends largely on the condition of the existing wood. All information refers to smooth and planed surfaces. Other surfaces may result in different coverage.

5 years and longer if stored dry and tightly sealed. If thickened due to freezing, store at room temperature for 24-36 hours before use.
