Application area:

• For interior use
• For dry areas as well as moderately moisture-loaded areas in wet areas, such as private showers and bathrooms, an additional bonded waterproofing with PCI Lastogum must be applied
• For walls and floors in residential areas: kitchen, bathroom, WC, corridor, attic conversion, among others
• Moisture barrier for wood chipboards V 100, wooden floorboards, OSB panels e.g., Kronospan, plasterboard and fiber-reinforced plasterboards
• Protective coating for cut edges of wood chipboards to reduce deformation caused by moisture exposure
• Prevents deformation caused by moisture when the dry wood chipboard is fully coated

Substrate pretreatment:

The substrate must be clean and dry. Dirt, grease, oil, and other contaminants must be completely removed. Wood chipboards or OSB panels may have a moisture content of up to 10%. The wood chipboard V 100 or OSB panel must be at least 25 mm thick on the floor and at least 19 mm thick on the wall, and be fastened to the substructure with a maximum screw spacing of 40 cm. The edge joint must be at least 8 mm. The edges of the wood chipboards must be glued. Cementitious substrates, e.g., cement plaster, concrete, etc., must first be primed with PCI Gisogrund, diluted 1:1 with water. Allow the primer to dry.
