webercal 172 Undercoat
webercal 172 is used indoors and outdoors on new and old plaster substrates for the preparation of an embedding plaster or undercoat. webercal 172 can be applied over all mineral and organic surface plasters, solvent-free paints from Weber, as well as tiles.
General notes
- Materials must not be mixed with additives.
- During processing and drying, the air temperature of the materials and the substrate must not fall below 5°C.
- Fresh plaster surfaces should be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind, or moisture exposure.
- Application and execution according to DIN 18 350 VOB/C and DIN 18 550.
- Consumption figures refer to the minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on substrate and processing. Exact consumption values should be determined by trial plastering on the actual object.
- Adjacent components must be separated from the plaster system.
- Sintered skin must be removed before applying additional layers.
Special notes
- webercal 172 is suitable indoors as a laying base for tiles and slabs with a total weight of up to 25 kg/m², including bedding mortar and tiles.
