webercal 172 Undercoat
webercal 172 is used indoors and outdoors on new and old plaster substrates for the preparation of an embedding plaster or undercoat.
webercal 172 can be applied with all mineral and organic surface plasters, solvent-free paints from Weber, as well as tiles.

- Can be processed mechanically and manually

- Mortar must not contain any additives
- During processing and drying, the temperature of the air, materials, and substrate must not fall below 5°C
- Fresh plaster surfaces should be protected from direct sunlight, strong wind, or moisture exposure
- Application and execution according to DIN 18 350 VOB-C and DIN 18 550
- Consumption figures refer to the minimum layer thickness and may vary depending on substrate and processing. Exact consumption values should be determined through trial applications on site.
- Adjacent components must be separated from the plaster system
- Sintered skin must be removed before applying additional layers
Special noteswebercal 172 is suitable as a laying base for tiles and slabs with a total weight of up to 25 kg/m², both indoors and outdoors, with a bonding mortar and tiles.
