weberdur 137 30kg Fiber Lightweight Render for high thermal insulation of masonry

weberdur 137 is a mineral-based fiber lightweight base coat suitable for interior and exterior use. It is particularly suitable for high thermal insulating masonry with low strength, e.g., lightweight hollow bricks. Thermal conductivity according to 011 W/mK, bulk density less than 700 kg/m3, compressive strength class less than 10, or aerated concrete. Due to its reduced E modulus and fiber reinforcement, weberdur 137 offers a high degree of crack safety. All mineral and organic surface plasters from weber as well as tiles can be applied on weberdur 137. For lesser requirements, weberdur 137 can also be used as an undercoat plaster with an subsequent solvent-free coating in interior areas.

Product Description

weberdur 137 is a factory-produced mineral dry mortar according to DIN EN 998-1.

Composition

Cement, white lime hydrate, organic lightweight aggregates, graded mineral aggregates, additives for better processing, hydrophobizing agents, fibers.

Product Properties

  • Low stress, crack-bridging
  • High yield
  • Fiber-reinforced
  • Generally substrate-independent setting behavior
  • Particularly suitable for thermal insulating masonry
  • Provides maximum safety against crack formation
  • Can be processed mechanically and manually

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that reduce adhesion. Dense substrates, e.g., concrete, require pre-treatment with the mineral bonding bridge weberdur 101 as a groove filler. Observe the curing times after a plaster base treatment. For unsuitable substrates, e.g., deviations from DIN 1053 masonry and DIN 18202 tolerances in high-rise construction, concerns must be addressed, and remedial measures taken. For level and plumb accurate application and termination of plaster profiles, use profile adhesive mortar webermix 125.

Application

Machine Application

The mortar can be processed with all common plastering machines; see equipment planner. By hand, thoroughly mix the contents of a bag with the specified amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved. Apply the mortar in the specified thickness of approximately 10-20 mm. Scratch the freshly applied plaster flat and free of nests. For highly absorbent and/or variably absorbent substrates, work in two layers wet-in-wet. The thickness of the first layer should be about 2/3 of the total plaster thickness. Roughen the surface of the base coat according to the intended top coat, e.g., with a coarse brush or toothed spatula after initial setting. As an undercoat plaster in interior areas, apply 3-4 mm the next day and, after setting, roughen or scratch the surface.
