Polystyrene-foamed flexible radon-tight bitumen thick coating 2K, easy to apply for underground waterproofing

Application Area
For underground waterproofing of basement floor slabs, foundations, and underground garage ceilings. Additionally, the coating can be used under screeds for intermediate sealing of wet and damp rooms, non-residential balconies, or terraces. Furthermore, the product can be used for bonding polystyrene rigid foam boards.

• No plaster layer required on masonry
• Resistant to concrete-damaging waters up to strongly aggressive levels according to DIN 4030
• Saltwater resistant, frost resistant in the dried state
• Radon-tight
• Sprayable with peristaltic pump technology and screw pump technology, e.g., Wagner PC 1030 with air support

General Notes

• For pressurized water, concrete must meet DIN EN 206 and DIN 1045 standards
• When exposed to strong sunlight, appropriate precautions such as shading should be taken
• Only after complete curing and drying can the bonding of protection and insulation panels and the filling of the construction pit be carried out
• For the protection of the waterproofing system, we recommend our fleece-backed drainage protection mat webersys 983
• Basic processing guidelines are outlined in DIN 18533. Additionally, the guidelines for planning and execution of waterproofing with polymer-modified bitumen thick coatings (PMBC) and the WTA leaflet "Retrofitting waterproofing of underground structures" should be observed
• All properties specified refer to a temperature of 20°C, no drafts, and a relative humidity of 70%
• When waterproofing water-impermeable concrete structures in the area of working and construction joints of precast concrete elements, the WU guideline must be followed

Approximately 2-3 days

Storage

Stored in a dry, cool, frost-free environment in the original sealed container, the material is storable for at least 12 months
