Product description:
weberdur 137 is a factory-produced, mineral dry mortar according to DIN EN 9981

Composition:
Cement, quicklime hydrate, organic lightweight additives, graded mineral aggregates, additives for improved workability, hydrophobic agent, fibers

Substrate preparation:

• The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, and free of dust and substances that reduce adhesion
• Dense substrates, e.g., concrete, require pre-treatment with the mineral bonding bridge weberdur 101 as a groove filler
• Observe curing times after primer application
• Inappropriate substrates, e.g., deviations from DIN 1053 masonry and DIN 18202 tolerances in building construction, must be addressed and remedied
• For plumb and level accurate joints, apply plaster profiles with ProfilAnsetzmörtel webermix 125

Application:

Machine: The mortar can be processed with all common plastering machines, see equipment planner
Hand: Thoroughly mix the contents of a bag with the specified amount of water until a workable consistency is achieved

• Apply the mortar in the specified thickness of approximately 10-20 mm
• Pull the freshly applied mortar straight and free of nests
• For highly absorbent and/or variably absorbent substrates, work in two wet-on-wet layers. The first layer should be 2/3 of the total plaster thickness
• Roughen the surface of the base coat according to the intended top coat, e.g., with a straw broom or notched decorative trowel after initial setting
• As an interior base coat: apply 3-4 mm the next day and, after setting, sand or rasp the surface
