weberfloor 4725 EPEmulsionsPrimer SE is a factory-produced, 2-component, water-emulsified epoxy resin. As an emulsion primer, it can be applied on very dense substrates such as weberfloor 4610 Industry Top, in combination with weberfloor 4736 Siegel WR SE or weberfloor 4774 Mattifying Finish SE, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Substrates

• Concrete, cement screed, calcium sulfate screed, magnesia screed, cast asphalt, epoxy coatings

Substrate preparation

• The substrate must be load-bearing, dimensionally stable, dry, and free of dust and substances that reduce adhesion
• Observe application tip: "Surface preparation procedures for liquid substrates"
• Suitable waterproofing measures must be taken in case of rising moisture
• Magnesia and anhydrite screeds are not moisture-resistant; allow for moisture equalization. Residual moisture can cause bubbles, delamination, or damage to the screed itself, even with thin top coats
• Adherent EP old coatings should be thoroughly abraded until white chalking occurs or blasted. In case of doubt, perform a test area

Processing
Mixing:

• Components A and B are matched; completely pour component A into component B and mix with a slow-running mixer and paddle No. 2 for about 2 minutes until streak-free. Re-pot and remix. Avoid taking partial quantities if possible.
• Observe application tip: "How to properly mix and process reactive resins"
• Clean tools with water while fresh

Processing:

• Immediately after mixing, apply the material evenly in a thin, closed layer with a nylon roller in a cross-coat pattern. For highly absorbent substrates, apply a second coat. Do not dilute with water!
• An even application results in a uniform gloss level and prevents shading
• Ensure good ventilation during processing and drying, i.e., air circulation. Avoid drafts
• Follow-up treatment can be colorless with weberfloor 4774 Mattifying Finish SE or colored with weberfloor 4736 Siegel WR once the surface is walkable
